Security Officer - Logistics Patrol

As a Security Officer - Logistics Patrol in Franklin, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more .

As an Access Control Officer in a logistics and distribution environment, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure atmosphere. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, remaining visible throughout the location, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. You will contribute to a positive environment by acting with integrity, collaborating with your team, and putting people first, reflecting our company's agile and reliable values.

Pay Rate: $18.54 / Hour

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to clients by following access control procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry within the logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.
• Document and report any security-related incidents or unusual activities observed during shifts.
• Communicate with site personnel and visitors to address questions and provide guidance regarding access protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Candidates should be comfortable using a computer or tablet; this is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
