Location: Stephenson Cancer Center Shift Available: Part-Time (20 hours/week) 10-hr shifts Phase 1 is an outpatient Clinical Trials department at the Stephenson Cancer Center advancing their mission of improving patient outcomes and raising the standard of cancer care of all Oklahomans. The Phase 1 program is ranked among the top 10 Phase 1 programs in the nation and is the only Phase 1 program in Oklahoma and the surrounding region. We provide an opportunity for patients to participate in "first-in-human" clinical trials to access new and promising investigational agents. This is a fast-paced, collaborative environment that requires great communication skills, the ability to multitask, and welcomes a willingness to learn. General Description: Under general supervision of a registered nurse, provides nursing care in a hospital based outpatient department to an assigned group of patients with a complex oncology diagnosis. General Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications: Education: Completion of educational requirements for NCLEX-PN examination. Completes Oncology Specific courses and competencies within 1 year of hire Experience: Oncology or previous health care office experience preferred License(s)/Certification(s)/Registration(s) Required: Current LPN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing, or a current multistate compact LPN License (eNLC) required. Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association required upon hire. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
