Job Description
As a Security Professional - Armed Government in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more . As an unarmed patrol officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, assisting visitors, and responding to situations as needed. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding our values of agility, reliability, and teamwork. Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the government location and its perimeter, observing for unusual activity and reporting any security-related incidents.
- Assist in helping to deter unauthorized access and suspicious behavior by maintaining a visible presence.
- Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to site protocols.
- Collaborate with site personnel and local authorities when required during incidents or emergencies.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must possess a valid Armed Security Professional License for the state of California.
- Must have a valid Armed Guard Card/License.
- Must have completed or be able to complete Armed-Quarterly Firearms Qualification (this training may be completed post hire).
- Must acknowledge and comply with Firearms Acknowledgement requirements.
- Must complete Firearms Annual Requalification Training (this training may be completed post hire).
- Must have Armed Designation as required by the post.
- Must be a graduate of a Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or possess an equivalent qualification.
- Must have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience, OR 2 years of security supervisor/manager experience, OR 3 years of security experience.
- A college degree is required.
- Must be trained and authorized to use handcuffs, pepper spray, baton, and sidearm as required by the post.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
