Visiting Lecturer I, English (Summer 2025)

Visiting lecturer in English. We invite applications for a visiting lecturer starting August 2025. We are a growing, lively, engaged, collaborative department offering a BA and an MA in English and a PhD in Rhetoric. Teaching load is 5/5, consisting of composition and other undergraduate courses determined by the candidate's area of specialization. Graduate courses are possible as the schedule, candidate experience, and departmental needs allow. The position may be renewable. Applicants must have a minimum of a Master's degree in English, Rhetoric, or closely allied field by August 31, 2025, although preference will be given to candidates with the PhD or who are ABD. Candidates should be prepared to teach engaging courses in a range of modalities and contribute to service in the department.
