Posting Summary |
The Department of Geography invites applications for a Teaching Instructor in Human and Environmental Geography. This is a full-time, non-tenure-track teaching position and will be a one year AY appointment with a start date of September 1, 2025. This position entails teaching large introductory courses in world regional geography and environmental studies as well as a selection from our upper level courses in conservation, political ecology, development, gender geographies, and climate change and society, and/or a course reflecting the instructor's area of expertise. Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience |
Required qualifications: PhD in Geography or a closely related discipline, teaching experience in a college or university setting in geography or a related discipline. Experience in teaching large classes (100-300 students) is desirable. |
