About the Role:

The Manager, Franchise & Operations training will deliver and manage Subway training programs for key stakeholders across restaurant operations and field teams, including franchisees, managers, and support staff. Frequently facilitate in-person presentations and workshops, while also leveraging virtual and online learning formats. Align training delivery with strategic initiatives, brand priorities, and performance goals to support success in a competitive QSR environment.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:



  • Facilitate the Franchisee Training Program-Deliver key components of the Subway Franchisee Training Program, with a primary focus on leading the in-person Graduation Week experience. Provide hands-on coaching, operational walkthroughs, and brand immersion to ensure new franchisees are equipped with the knowledge, confidence, and skills needed to successfully operate their restaurants. Act as a subject matter expert and brand ambassador during the program, reinforcing standards, answering operational questions, and fostering a strong connection to the Subway system.
  • Facilitate Training Development Sessions-Deliver in-person and virtual training presentations, workshops, and courses for franchisees, restaurant managers, and field teams to support operational excellence and brand consistency.
  • Customize and Deliver Learning Programs-Adapt core training content as needed to address audience-specific needs, ensuring relevance, clarity, and engagement across delivery formats.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams-Work with Field Operations, Curriculum Development, and other stakeholders to ensure training materials are accurate, up to date, and aligned with brand standards."



Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency with virtual training platforms and familiarity with Learning Management Systems (preferred).
  • Experience required: Ideally, 2+ years prior experience in: Training Facilitation.
  • Travel 30%-60%
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills with the ability to lead both in-person and virtual training sessions across diverse audiences.
  • Deep understanding of restaurant operations and brand standards, with the ability to coach and guide others in real-world settings.
  • Ability to adapt training content to suit varying learning styles, regional needs, and operational contexts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster engagement, provide feedback, and answer operational questions confidently.
  • Collaboration and cross-functional coordination skills to work effectively with Field Operations, Curriculum Development, and other stakeholders.
  • Organizational and time management skills, including the ability to manage multiple training events and priorities.

Actual pay is determined based on a number of job-related factors including skills, education, training, credentials, qualifications, scope and complexity of role responsibilities, geographic location, performance, and working conditions.
