Now, we're entering a new phase of growth and are looking for a Technical Project Administrator to join our team, contributing to the organization, planning and execution of engineering initiatives within a cross-functional engineering team. The ideal candidate will thrive working in an innovative and fast-paced work environment, have excellent organization, planning, execution, and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail. This candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring engineering projects and daily efforts are well documented, organized for execution, and completed efficiently and on time.

What You'll Do


  • Work with leadership to assist with planning and execution of engineering development initiatives.
  • Contribute with the capturing, organization, and maintenance of project documentation for proof of concept, design, prototyping, and testing.
  • Create and maintain multiple Jira engineering projects including custom screens, fields and workflows.
  • Create reports, plan views, etc. within Jira that facilitate task scheduling and monitor engineering workloads.
  • Organize engineering design process workflows and tasking into automatable Jira work structures.
  • Facilitate seamless and timely execution of development efforts across the engineering, test and documentation teams.
  • Coordinate development, prototyping. and integration efforts across multiple engineering disciplines.
  • Manage the acquisition and emplacement of engineering assets throughout the teams and to multiple development locations.
  • Support and coordinate engineering team efforts for maximum productivity.


Requirements


  • Extensive administration experience with Atlassian's Jira and Confluence.
  • Experience with Microsoft's Office products including Project and SharePoint.
  • Able to multi-task in a fast paced and dynamic work environment and maintain a high level of detail.
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline, engineering management, or direct work experience in these fields.
  • Excellent people and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • 2 - 4 years' experience in a technical role working with or as an engineering team member(s).


Physical Requirements

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, climb, and move about regularly throughout the day and lift / carry up to 25 pounds. Must have manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment as well as standard machine shop equipment. Must be physically capable of the assigned duties.

Work Environment

This position typically operates in a standard office setting and manufacturing environment. This role requires use of standard office and manufacturing equipment and may require occasional travel to customer locations or facilities. This position may have exposure to outdoor weather conditions, noise, and non-climate-controlled environments. May require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) depending on the environment. This is a fast-paced work environment and requires cross departmental collaboration with independent and team-based responsibilities. Standard works hours for this position are 8:30am-5:00pm with occasional overtime as operational needs demand.

ITAR Requirement

In compliance with International Traffic Arms Regulations (ITAR), candidates must be U.S. Citizens, U.S. Permanent Residents (Green Card holders) or individuals granted asylee/refugee status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).
