The Architect role is pivotal in designing and implementing robust solutions using Python AWS Glue ETL and Amazon S3. With a hybrid work model and day shift the candidate will use their expertise to optimize data workflows and storage solutions ensuring seamless integration and performance. This role requires a minimum of 8 years and a maximum of tried ability in relevant technologies.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled ETL Tester & Data Analyst with expertise in ETL testing (preferably Datastage) to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and efficiency of data processing workflows. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in ETL testing, data analysis, and solve to support data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement ETL test cases for DataStage workflows.
  • Perform data validation, transformation, and integrity checks across multiple sources.
  • Analyze data discrepancies and provide solutions to improve data quality.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and business analysts to understand requirements.
  • Optimize ETL processes for performance and scalability.
  • Document test plans, test cases, and defect reports for ETL processes.
  • Monitor ETL job execution and solve failures.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • proven ability in ETL testing and data analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of IBM DataStage and ETL concepts.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and validation.
  • Experience with data warehousing and data integration.
  • Familiarity with data profiling and quality assurance techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills to collaborate with multi-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark).
  • Knowledge of cloud-based ETL solutions (AWS, Azure).
  • Certification in IBM DataStage or ETL testing.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $90,000 - $ 108,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
