We're looking for aSoftware Engineer who's excited to contribute to the cutting-edge systems that support real-time experiences across console, web, and cloud platforms. What You'll Do Develop and maintain high-performance C/C++ software powering PlayStation experiences Contribute to systems used across PlayStation consoles, servers, and the web Build, test, and deploy services in aLinux environment Collaborate across teams to troubleshoot and optimize large, complex codebases Apply solidobject-oriented design principles to create maintainable and scalable code Participate in code reviews and technical discussions with a global team We're seeking candidates who bring most of the following: A BS in Computer Science or equivalent technical field 3+ years of professional experience in C/C++ development (required) 1+ year of experience in web development with tools like JavaScript, React, WebCodecs, or WebAssembly Experience working on aPlayStation project or with console-level development Background in building and maintainingLinux-based server applications Comfort usingCMake for builds and Git for version control Strong debugging skills inlarge software projects Solid grasp ofobject-oriented programming and design patterns Bonus: Experience withPython and/or Rust Why Join Us? Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this role is eligible for SIE's top-tier benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, matching 401(k), paid time off, wellness program and coveted employee discounts for Sony products.
