Job Summary

The candidate will oversee running the global interactome project.

Essential Job Duties
  • Designing in vitro binding assays for the interactome screen and automating the assays.
  • Supervising personnel conducting the interactome screen.
  • Designing multiplexed single-cell sequencing assays for functional characterization of proteins in cultured cells.
  • Supervising personnel conducting these functional assays.
  • Supervising bioinformatics work to define protein lists for the screens.
  • Interacting with companies hired to synthesize genes.
  • Supervising accounting of project funds.
  • Planning future project directions.
  • Writing grants.
Basic Qualifications
  • Previous experience in conducting large-scale extracellular interactome screens.
  • Experience in biotechnology companies.
  • Experience with supervision of technicians conducting assays.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bioinformatics knowledge.
  • Expertise in automation of laboratory tasks using liquid-handling robots.
  • Expertise on selection of proteins as therapeutic targets.

Hiring Range

$130,000 - $200,000 Per Year

The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.
