Summary of the Job:

The Facility Systems and Reporting role is responsible for leveraging and maximizing specific systems and applications used in Buildings. The role is responsible for developing system roadmaps that align with Building's technology vision, business unit objectives, enterprise vision, and ensures collaboration across all teams. Collaborates with stakeholders within Buildings, HR, and IT. Effectively manages through professional analysts by setting strategies, prioritizing, and assigning work, and holding individuals and teams accountable.

About This Role:

Strategic Alignment & Partnership: Work collaboratively with peers to develop, coordinate and implement solutions that reinforce business processes, streamline facility processes, and align to strategic initiatives.

  • Immediate peers and other partners including but not limited to; Sr. Director - Chief Security Officer, Sr. Director, Facility Planning & Projects, Sr. Director, Facility Maintenance and Property Management, Director, Real Estate, Vice President, Infrastructure, and Director of Network Engineering
  • Develop and implement roadmaps for Buildings technology systems and initiatives
  • Provide oversight and management of facility systems supporting technology initiatives and processes for FN Buildings department
  • Foster collaborative and supportive working relationship with IT key contacts in support of Buildings systems and applications
  • Manage vendor contracts and relationships
  • Responsible for the creation and adherence to a budget and performance metrics
  • Develop departmental plans which support the department's needs and goals
  • Make decisions guided by resources and organizational objectives
  • Lead managers and leaders through negotiations with external partners, vendors, and customers
  • Create and manage technology implementation and configuration, change, backup, and recovery policies
  • Develop and automate processes to maintain and monitor services with maximum efficiency
  • Ensure constant availability of infrastructure components that FN Buildings applications are running through and partnering systems talk to

System, Process, & Metrics support: Lead Buildings analysts who are accountable for supporting the maintenance, configuration, upgrades, and troubleshooting of systems

  • Design, develop, and maintain reporting through Business Objects Enterprise
  • Accountable to maintain integrity of application, data, and related systems
  • Prioritize and manage projects and tasks for Archibus issues and improvements
  • Maintain facility background and drawing data
  • Lead effective implementation of process analysis, process improvement, and effective reporting
  • Analyze current state of reporting and its effectiveness. Drive changes to better support buildings management by understanding their environments
  • Enhance building efficiency by optimizing technology and resource use.

Management: Effectively apply management practices in pursuit of the development of the team.

  • Sets priorities and makes day-to-day decisions. Escalate matters to senior management as needed.
  • Provide leadership, motivation, coaching, and assessment to ensure optimum team and individual performance in support of company and departmental goals
  • Builds highly developing teams through individual and team-specific training
  • Empower team members to make decisions regarding their assignments
  • Encourages others to work outside their comfort zone using professional growth goals
  • Clearly communicate expectations of team within hybrid function
  • Ability to assist and take on work for team members during high volume times

The Ideal Candidate for This Role:

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

  • Demonstrate a consultative approach with the ability to analyze stakeholder's needs
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships, as well as listening and actively contribute to strategic discussions
  • Develop and lead 3-year technology plans that help meet Buildings and organization goals
  • Work with Property and Security leaders to help support and plan their technological visions
  • Able to apply new technologies and ways of thinking to current system

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 10+ years of technology support experience
  • Comprehensive understanding of Archibus and reporting applications used in facility management
  • Strong process improvement and efficiency skills
  • Strong analytical, deductive reasoning, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work on and organize multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to deliver high level presentations
  • Ability to handle stress, meet deadlines, and work independently
  • Create and maintain future technological needs

SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS

  • Microsoft SQL server query writing/tuning
  • HTML5 and XML experience
  • JSON formatting for SharePoint pages
  • SharePoint 365
  • Power Automate workflows for SharePoint
  • Java and Java Script troubleshooting
  • Understanding of cloud technologies and their support systems
  • AutoCAD 2023
  • Revit 2023

Compensation:

Compensation range (base pay): $105,443.00-$179,253.00

This role may have a specific starting pay within this range.

Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level.
