DUTIES:

Assists the JRTC Mission Support Contract (MSC) Program Manager in all facets of management of a large service contract having a value more than $400M with approximately 1,400 exempt, non-exempt, SCA and CBA employees, and sub-contractors. Assists in the planning, coordination, integration, synchronization, and execution for a wide range of functions in 11 major Performance Work Statement (PWS) areas that provide direct support to the US Army Joint Readiness Training Center Operations Group. Major additional duties include lead management responsibilities for the following programs and/or functional areas: Safety, Quality Control, Environmental Compliance, employee issue cases and dispute resolution, and time-sensitive emergent requirements. Ensures these programs and/or functional areas are executed in a manner that is compliant with all applicable federal statutes as well as all applicable federal and corporate policies. Acts as primary supervisor for six subordinate Branch Chiefs. Performs duties as Program Manager in the absence of the principal and other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor of Arts or Science degree; possess military experience at the Battalion Command level or above MEL IV graduate. The Deputy Program Manager shall possess project/program management experience in either the government or private sector at comparable levels of scope and responsibility as the JRTC MSC. Demonstrated familiarity in the following areas: all MSC PWS areas; JRTC Operations Group organization and functions; JRTC rotational training exercise design and support requirements.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Master of Arts or Science degree. Serve as an OCT at one of the CTCs. Associate Safety Professional certification is desired. Experience in any of the major additional duty programs and/or functional areas identified above.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to travel unaccompanied to CONUS and OCONUS locations. Must possess a Secret security clearance. May be required to submit to and pass initial and periodic random drug screenings. Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions and during periods of limited visibility. Must have a valid state driver's license. Must be able to work extended and irregular hours to include weekends. Must have proficiency in Microsoft Office programs of Word, Power Point, and Excel along with exceptional oral and written communications skills.
