The Role:

We are looking for our next Head of Global Supply Chain, Pharma Solutions within our Health & Pharma Solutions Business Group. The Director will oversee all logistical activities of the site while ensuring customer needs are met by optimizing operations (in accordance with the policy defined by the Supply Chain).

This position is hybrid, located in Wilmington, DE and Lower Gwynedd, PA.

Compensation:

The current salary range for this role is estimated to be $310,000 - $325,000.In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation. The specific compensation offered to a candidate will be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage the Logistics, Planning and Customer Service teams within your scope - a group of approx. 100 employees and contractors (with planners and logistics hubs across the globe).
  • Organize operational logistics activities and inventories (internal and external providers), planning (scheduling, stock management, and replenishment), and administrative tasks on site
  • Optimize Global Customer Care organization driving best practices for Customer Service Organization, next generation tools and network design.
  • Ensure financial efficiency (Negotiate prices with providers, oversee invoice management, monitor the budget, develop productivity)
  • Control the follow-up of complaints (response rates and times) and conduct investigations of disputes
  • Apply procedures or instructions in accordance with group guidelines
  • Ensure the management of information related to logistics at the site (relations with various departments and external stakeholders, internal communication plans, customs notebook...)
  • Forward Looking approach to next generation tools for planning, warehouse network design, best in class execution practices and highly effective customer care to drive best experience for our customers
  • Consider, apply, and promote the site's Safety and QHSE rules
  • Follow a continuous improvement and operational excellence approach (OTIF management, performance review, optimize the procedures and methods, lean and six sigma, internal and external benchmarking.)

What You'll Need:

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering (or similar) is preferred

Experience:

  • Minimum of 15+ years experience - very senior leadership role reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer.
  • 6-10 Direct Reports / up to 100 indirect reports

Physical Demands

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to speak or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk, climb stairs, use hands and fingers to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms; work in hot, cold and loud environments. Employee must be able to wear a respirator.(manufacturing only)

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

  • This is a full-time position.Days and flexible hours of work are required to meet facility demands.

Business Travel:

  • Occasional domestic/international travel may be expected as needed.
