Job Summary

Create, grow, and maintain sales of industrial gas products and technical solutions to new and existing customers. Serve as a technical expert to drive profiles sales and target acquisition of new customers. Identify and develop improvements to customers' manufacturing processes. Develop technical solution designs, value creation determinations, and technical solutions proposals. Collaborate with sales and market segment personnel to analyze and assess customer feedback, opportunity qualifications, and solutions cost development to secure business opportunities. Develop relationship with multiple functions in prospect/customer organizations such as operations, maintenance, and engineering functions. Assist in developing training material and presentations for technical & sales. Independently serve as a subject matter expert in performing technical audits, site inspections, and process improvements. Mentor and develop graduate engineers in freezer sizing, exhaust design, understanding of cryogenic equipment, sales processes. Participate in negotiating agreements with internal sales managers and customer. Analyze industry trends and opportunities to develop market insights toward the development of new and improved application equipment and technologies. Independently design and perform freezer sizing, exhaust systems sizing, and flow calculations. Independently work with the project execution team to troubleshoot equipment & process issues for the customer. Work with the supply and distribution team to ensure reliability to customer through consumption estimation and efficiency improvements.

Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science and Technology, Nutritional Sciences, Food Processing Technology, Agricultural & Biological Engineering, or a similar discipline and two years of experience applying or designing and selling technical solutions in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience analyzing products and identifying opportunities for commercialization.
  • Proficiency with industrial equipment and process development.
  • Experience providing technical leadership in a technical/engineering sales environment.
  • 50% travel within Southwest region.
