Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA Clariant's Adsorbents and Additives Business Unit is seeking a full-time Industrial Room Operator to join our team in Albuquerque, New Mexico. In this onsite day shift role, you'll be responsible for the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of equipment and processes within the industrial room. Key responsibilities include monitoring and adjusting machinery, maintaining quality and safety standards, and troubleshooting issues to support production goals. We offer competitive hourly pay of $18.59/hour, paid time off, medical, dental, vision benefits, and overtime opportunities. Responsibilities
- Review and interpret process orders for detailed instructions and specifications
- Accurately complete and maintain clear, legible documentation on all required in-process forms
- Operate bagging and packet sealing equipment efficiently and safely
- Perform visual inspections of materials prior to packaging to ensure quality standards are met
- Monitor the quality of bags and packets according to established specifications and inspection frequency
- Notify technicians promptly of any defective materials or equipment issues
- Make routine machine adjustments using appropriate tools (e.g., wrenches)
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment and work areas within the departmet
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED preferred but not required
- 0-3 years of experience; manufacturing experience preferred
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and able to lift to 35lbs
- Must be able to fluently read/write in English
- Basic mathematical skills
- Must possess time management skills and the ability to work in fast paced environment
