JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Marketing Intern provides assistance and support for Cambro's Marketing Team. The Intern will be responsible for providing support on marketing initiatives, market research, campaign preparation and planning, writing content for the company website, and monitoring social media platforms, along with other Marketing support initiatives as assigned.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Participate in marketing research, campaign planning, execution, and brainstorming sessions.
  • Support in writing content for Cambro's website, social media accounts, and external emails.
  • Measure and report the results of marketing initiatives.
  • Create graphics for website and social media.
  • Present innovative ideas on strengthening our visuals for print and online.
  • Utilize appropriate internal systems to organize campaign information/media plans.
  • Manage digital asset maintenance and organization.
  • Review and update existing marketing assets, including PowerPoint decks, sell sheets, trade show materials, and other point-of-sale materials.
  • Monitor competitors and share findings to improve our innovation initiatives.
  • Inventory management of the training room and storage
  • Assist with sending out products and oversee tracking.
  • Makes edits and updates to current projects based on feedback.
  • Maintains reliable and consistent attendance, including being punctual and dependable in order to meet the needs of the department and the organization.
  • Executes each essential duty satisfactorily in order to perform job successfully.
  • Follows all safety procedures required in work area, wears PPE as needed, attends all safety meetings, and reports safety issues regarding equipment or unsafe/hazardous conditions.
  • Performs effectively as a team member, able to work well with others, open to receive and give feedback, and treats everyone with respect.
  • Takes ownership of own work and behavior, accepts accountability for own actions, encourages solutions, and communicates status of work/projects.
  • Follows all department quality standards/criteria. Raises concerns and issues to immediate manager.
  • Understands and demonstrates Cambro company culture; displays company core values (Safety, Quality, Respect, and Service).
  • Understands department's key performance indicators and contributes to achieve these goals both individually and as a team.
  • Other duties as assigned or required.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Must be able to work overtime as needed, remain flexible, and open to possible schedule changes in order to meet business needs.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Preferably studying marketing, business, journalism, graphic design, or other related college majors.
  • Strong writing and grammar skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and desktop publishing tools (ex, Adobe Photoshop).
  • Ability to prioritize work assignments, critical tasks, and routine work.
  • Be available to work part-time hours Monday-Friday, 8 am - 5 pm.

COMPENSATION RANGE:

$18.04 - $20.00

Salary may vary based on experience.
