We are currently seeking a Quality Engineer to join a passionate team focused on advancing cancer treatment solutions through cutting-edge biotechnology.

Pay: Up to $44/hr. | Schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, some flex to start time

Key Responsibilities:



  • Assess and qualify potential new suppliers for technical, quality, and manufacturing capabilities; support component introduction
  • Create and maintain incoming inspection procedures and train inspectors accordingly
  • Develop or source appropriate inspection tools and equipment; assist in generating and approving component specifications
  • Generate and monitor test protocols, issue qualification reports, and approve components for production use
  • Analyze material defects, drive corrective actions, and communicate quality issues to suppliers
  • Support design engineering with component selection, quality analysis, and manufacturability input
  • Investigate supplier-related field failures and collaborate on corrective action plans; ensure compliance with quality systems and procedures


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a technical field with at least 2 years of relevant experience
  • Background in regulated industries such as medical devices, automotive, aerospace, or semiconductors
  • Proven project management skills with the ability to influence cross-functional, global teams
  • Experience with process validation, design controls, risk management, CAPA, and SCAR
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of working independently
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to tailor information to different audiences
  • Quick to learn and adapt to new software applications (e.g., PLM, ERP systems)
  • Domestic and international travel up to 25%
