  • Level 1: Estimated hourly base pay: $18.73 (minimum) - $23.41 (midpoint) - $28.09 (maximum) Plus shift differential

  • Level 2: Estimated hourly base pay: $20.92 (minimum) - $26.15 (midpoint) - $31.38 (maximum) Plus shift differential

What You Will Be Doing

  • Performing set-ups, operations, tool offsets and changes of Makino VMC machines to manufacture aerospace components and parts

  • Reading, interpreting and following appropriate work instructions in order to successfully set up and operate a Wire EDM Machine and CMM equipment

  • Supporting members, department and the organization by performing a variety of tasks including, but not limited to, stocking, shipping, washing, inspecting, etc.

  • Utilizing computer programs, including web based systems, to enter part data, log time, and look up information in order to complete assigned work tasks.

  • Conducting inspection techniques by using various inspection tools and equipment to ensure customer and company specifications are met

  • Verifying the calibration/expiration dates of total productive maintenance (qualification tests to ensure machine is operating appropriately) and writing non-conformance reports (NCR's) when necessary.

  • Using appropriate tools and equipment in an industrial setting to complete assembly and manufacturing processes

  • Reading and interpreting work instructions blueprints and interpreting Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing

Additional Information:

Variety of mechanical tools. Computer. Moderate physical activity requires agility and dexterity, including walking, standing, or bending; and lifting or moving objects up to 20 pounds. Note: Some product lines have heavier lifting requirements due to product type. Ability to stand for entire shift. Work is performed in an area with moderate risk or discomfort that may require special safety precautions, such as wearing protective clothing or gear. May be required to pass Near vision and/or Color vision examinations

What We Are Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required

Level 1:

  • Previous VMC machining or Wire EDM and inspection experience is highly desired

Level 2:

  • 1 or more years of VMC machining or Wire EDM and inspection experience is highly desired.

This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
