Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop technical solutions for engineering projects, ensuring compliance with DOE, DoD, and commercial regulations.
  • Oversee project development from concept to implementation, ensuring timelines, budget constraints, and specifications are met.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project integration across various departments.
  • Prepare and review technical reports, proposals, and documentation in line with industry and contract standards.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and project teams.
  • Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies and advancements in the field, applying them to improve project outcomes.
  • Ensure all work complies with company and government safety and environmental policies and regulations.
  • Engage in risk assessment and mitigation strategies to foresee potential project issues and develop solutions.
  • Liaise with clients, vendors, and regulatory bodies to ensure project requirements are met and communicated effectively.
  • Junior Engineer - Performs engineering analyses and detailed design with little input from mentor
  • Participate in technical discussions and decision-making to drive continuous improvement in engineering processes.

Education, Experience and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or a relevant field) (required); Doctorate (Required)
  • Minimum of 4 years of engineering experience, with a strong emphasis on project management and team leadership (required); experience working with DOE or DoD contracts (preferred).
  • Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and other engineering design software (required). Proficiency in government contract work and regulatory standards (preferred).
  • Must receive a satisfactory pre-hire drug screen and background check.
  • Must possess a valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
  • Must be able to meet the physical requirements.
