Job Description Summary

Position Objective:

The Strategic Customer Representative will increase market share within Group Purchasing Organizations (GPO). This role will focus on growing revenue through product awareness, efficiency of GPO and evaluate new potential customers to the program. This position will serve as the mentor/liaison in the overall go market strategy and build relationships with key decision-makers within GPOs.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales growth by identifying and developing new business opportunities within GPOs
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with GPO members, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions by making office and field visits
  • Manage a portfolio of GPO accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities within the GPO market
  • Work closely with the marketing and operations teams to ensure seamless customer experience
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and provide regular reports on sales performance
  • Investigate and resolve any issues including contract, invoice, service, etc.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing or related field preferred
  • 2-3 years of experience in sales or account management, preferable with the equipment rental industry or with GPOs
  • Excellent contract negotiation skills
  • Understands basic knowledge of MS Office, proficient with Excel, Outlook, Internet/Intranet, and CRM system
  • Must be able to travel frequently within the market
  • Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated success developing relationships
  • Excellent written and verbal communicator with strong presentation skills
  • Strong business and technical acumen, with excellent data and analytical skills.
  • Good project management skills with proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
Base Pay Range: $84,877.00 - 116,705.60

Total compensation package includes base pay plus robust commission plan.

Sunbelt also provides a comprehensive benefits package to its full-time employees. This package includes health, dental and vision plans, 401(k), volunteer time off, short-term and long-term disability, accident, life and travel insurance, as well as flexible spending, tuition reimbursement, college savings, EAP and length of service awards. You will become eligible for benefits on the first of the month following 30 days from your start date. Sunbelt offers team members the following time off from work, subject to Sunbelt's policies: twelve to twenty-five vacation days depending on years of service; five sick days; six paid holidays, two paid half day holidays, two floating holidays, one inclusion day, and one volunteer day (unless specified in a collective bargaining agreement).
