SUMMARY/OBJECTIVES

Timely and accurate management of Pre-Purchase Suspense Conditions/Stipulations (internal and investor) to ensure resolution by deadline; Monitors system reports in performance of daily job functions; Produces accurate management reporting; Ensures compliance with operating procedures.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Download, review, and monitor service released sold loan suspense conditions.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely with appropriate partners regarding resolution of conditions.
  • Obtain and submit supporting documentation to clear suspense conditions (internal and Investor) by deadline to minimize monetary penalties.
  • Monitor these investor servicing released conditions daily.
  • Ensure accuracy and clarity of document images in appropriate systems.
  • Maintain current knowledge of Investor/Agency documentation requirements to ensure appropriate documentation is obtained to clear conditions.
  • Produce and submit timely and accurate management reporting.
  • Develop and maintain high level customer service.
  • Create effective relationships and communication with teammates and partners.
  • Accepts other duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Education, and Certification Requirements

  • Education: College Degree is preferred. Business Administration degree a plus
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years first mortgage origination support.
  • Certifications/Specific Knowledge: Ability to interpret legal and regulatory directives in an atmosphere of constant change; complete knowledge of mortgage loan documentation and process flow; working knowledge of PC applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook; high level user skills with mortgage origination systems software; capacity to build and manage reports to monitor daily tasks and production.

TRAINING REQUIREMENTS/CLASSES

Required annual compliance training.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Must be able to effectively access and interpret information on computer screens, documents, and reports. This position requires a large amount of time in front of a computer. This can be done sitting or standing with use of the right desk.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position is in a cubicle environment that may be loud throughout the day. The position is located inside a cooled and heated facility with ability to go to a break room or rest room during breaks.

TRAVEL

Travel may be required to come to meetings as needed.
