FMTV Field Service Representative (Trainer)

STS Technical Services is actively hiring Field Service Representatives (FSRs) to travel and support our military customers by delivering hands-on maintenance support and training on FMTV and other military vehicles.

This position is 50% travel-based, with the remainder of time spent at a local military installation near your home. Candidates must reside within 50 miles of one of the following locations to be eligible:

• Columbia, South Carolina
  
• El Paso or Austin, Texas
  
• Gainesville, Florida
  
• Wrightstown, New Jersey
  
• St. Cloud, Minnesota
  
• Johnston, Iowa
  
• Manhattan, Kansas
  

As an FSR, you will become a subject matter expert on military wheeled vehicles, delivering OPNET/FLMNET training (following in-house training) and providing technical assistance on vehicle systems. You'll also lead instruction on maintenance, operations, repair procedures, retrofit upgrades, and parts support.

• Deliver mechanic-based field support to military clients across designated regions
  
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair defense light-wheeled vehicles
  
• Coordinate parts and service logistics to support operational readiness
  
• Forecast parts stocking needs for upcoming field or maintenance operations
  
• Train military operators and maintainers on correct usage and repair techniques
  
• Support warranty administration and retrofit program rollouts
  
• Represent STS Technical Services with professionalism in both domestic and international field environments
  

• Active Class A or Class B CDL
  
• Minimum 5 years of experience working on light or heavy military wheeled vehicles (5-10 years preferred)
  
• Ability and willingness to travel worldwide up to 100% of the time
  
• Eligibility to obtain at least a NACI-level security clearance
  
• Possess an active U.S. Passport valid for at least 5 years
  
• High School Diploma or GED
  
• Valid Driver's License
  

• Previous hands-on experience with JLTV, FMTV, FHTV, HETT, HEMITT, or similar military vehicles
  
• Degree or technical certification in Vehicle Service Repair, Diesel Technology, or Heavy Equipment
