We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Commissioning and Test & Balance (TAB) Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with HVAC and building systems in support of high-performance building commissioning projects. No prior certification is required-just a willingness to learn, work hard, and grow your skills in a technical and collaborative environment.


Responsibilities

  • Assist with field testing of HVAC and mechanical systems under the supervision of experienced technicians and engineers.
  • Use specialized tools and instrumentation to measure airflow, temperature, pressure, and other system parameters.
  • Accurately collect and document field data as part of the commissioning and TAB process.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify and troubleshoot performance issues in building systems.
  • Maintain organized records of field measurements, notes, and observations.
  • Contribute to the preparation of clear and detailed commissioning and TAB reports.

Qualifications

  • Strong interest in HVAC, mechanical systems, or building science.
  • Technical aptitude and comfort using tools, meters, and measurement devices.
  • Ability to follow procedures, pay close attention to detail, and think critically in the field.
  • Excellent communication skills-both verbal and written.
  • Team-oriented with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites.

Preferred but Not Required:

  • Coursework or background in mechanical systems, HVAC, or related technical fields.
  • Familiarity with blueprints, mechanical drawings, or building systems.
  • Experience with hand tools or test instruments is a plus.
