Overview

The VP Global Value Consulting and Strategic Advising is responsible for delivering strategic business value to our enterprise prospects and customers during the pre-sales cycle. This position manages a team of value consultants and strategic advisors in the pre-sales organization who accelerate revenue growth by aligning our solutions with customers' strategic priorities quantifying business impact and building compelling financial justifications for customers.



What you will be doing

    Lead and scale a high-performing global value consulting and strategic advising team.

  • Drive the creation of ROI models business cases and strategic transformation roadmaps while partnering with sales and pre-sales teams to engage with C-level executives at strategic accounts.

  • Develop repeatable frameworks tools and messaging for enterprise value storytelling.

  • Partner with product marketing to refine value propositions and competitive differentiation as well as product management to feed customer insights and enterprise-level trends into the roadmap.

  • Orchestrates the budgeting process including strategy allocation and reconciliation

  • Create strategic vision and collaborate with executive management to define and ensure success of strategy in alignment with organizational objectives

  • Provide managerial direction and oversee all aspects of performance management for direct reports. Measure and hold all direct reports accountable for meeting defined goals and operational standards; ensure management teams are defining and holding teams accountable for all aspects of performance management of direct reports

  • Oversee and hold management accountable for all Human Resources-related managerial functions and responsibilities associated with hiring compensation management employment relations and termination of employees. Approve and ensure the overall hiring aligns to department budget and forecast

  • Oversee the development of future leaders and assist in identifying leadership potential within the team that aligns with the people strategy

  • Act as a strategic influencer to internal and external peers industry groups and/or customers

  • Serve as the final escalation point for highest priority issues; provide direction and guidance to assist with resolution of issues

  • Work with executive leadership to plan and set the strategic vision organizational structure operating policies and procedures and management practices to ensure department delivers operational excellence

  • Work closely with appropriate stakeholders and business leaders to ensure success to drive collaborative work across departments



What will make you successful

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

  • 15+ years of experience in related field

  • Minimum 10 years experience in prior management experience

  • Relevant senior level management experience

  • Demonstrated fiscal responsibility/accountability in managing budgets

  • Exceptional Problem solving critical thinking and analytical skills

  • Exceptional collaboration skills applied successfully within a team as well as other areas

  • Exceptional attention to detail

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills; able to maintain solid rapport with team members as well as maintain professionalism with those outside of department

  • Exceptional Leadership sound judgement and business acumen skills

  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact

  • Exceptional organizational multi-tasking and time management skills

  • Exceptional ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and tact

  • Exceptional ability to establish rapport and gain the trust of others; effective at gaining consensus

  • Ability to coach mentor and provide feedback to team members in a timely manner

  • Exceptional ability to develop use and deliver engaging informative and compelling presentation methodologies

  • Ability to provide guidance and support to developing team members

  • Sharp fast learner with technology curiosity and aptitude

  • Exceptional experience with Microsoft Operating systems and products

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook or equivalent email and calendar software

  • Exceptional business and technology acumen

  • Up to 50% travel time required

  • Based on individual states' employment laws, the following details are to comply with the relevant salary posting requirements: base salary range of $224,000-$280,000 and eligible for benefits and bonus
