Overview Ready to shape the future of science and global health? ATCC, a leading nonprofit biological resources and standards organization, is seeking a Lead Biologist to work onsite in Manassas, VA. We're looking for a Lead Biologist with solid foundational knowledge in virology and experience with various viruses and cell lines required, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and optimize manufacturing processes to manufacture or test biological materials and standards. Exceptional opportunity to gain experience supporting the wide variety of ATCC's virology collection. You'll lead the team to support the production of biological cultures and derivative products, serve as a subject matter expert, as well as collect and record data. Manufacturing Operations:
Manufacture biological products by following standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and other controlled documents. Support QC processes and standards. Maintain lab safety, operations, equipment, and supplies. Serve as the expert on the floor.
Qualifications Education and Experience:
Benefits The expected salary range for this position is $90,000 to $105,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience and qualifications as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional incentive compensation including regular merit increases and the corporate bonus program.
