Hourly Pay Range:

$19.89 - $28.84 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Medical Assistant for our Medical Group Gynecology and Gynecological Pain & Minimally Invasive Surgery located at Skokie ACC in Skokie, IL. This is a full-time position (40 hrs/wk) and is benefits eligible. Hours will be scheduled/rotated Monday through Thursday between 7:30 am and 5:30 pm, Friday 6:30 am - 3:30 pm and 1-2 Saturday every month. This position may travel to our Chicago Lakeview office or other locations for vacation, vacancies and/or medical leave coverage. This position will also be trained to cross cover Urogynecology.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Provide clinical care under the direction of the office Physicians and Practice Manager
  • Document vital signs, allergies, medications, reason for office visit and take medical histories
  • Prepare patients for examinations and procedures like Colposcopy, LEEPS, Hysteroscopy
  • Collect/prepare specimens
  • Sterilize and High Level Disinfection instruments and scopes
  • Phone triage, test results, prior authorizations and in-basket management
  • Back-up coverage for Patient Support Associates
  • Perform other functions as delegated

Qualifications

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • 1 - 2 years Women's Health MA experience a plus
