Job Summary: BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE (JACKSONVILLE, ORLANDO AND MARION COUNTY MARKETS) Business Development Representative will handle the provision of Sales, Marketing, and Patient Referral, and hospital services activities at The Vines Hospital. This individual is responsible for achieving the desired utilization of the organization's continuum of care through the effective application of marketing principles and methods. The Business Development Representative directly serves as the liaison between the hospital, the community, and referring agencies. The market this position will cover includes:
In collaboration with the Director of Business Development and Business Development Team, the Business Development Representative presents a positive and professional public image of the facility within the community. This position is primary remote (on the road), and responsible territory is subject to change based on market trends and needs. This position is at least 75% travel on the road, and will require driving to market area facilities. The physical office location and hospital training for this position will be The Vines Hospital, located in Ocala, FL. Hours are based on departmental, and facility needs and may include day, evening, and weekend hours, as directed by the Director of Business Development, or CEO/Managing Director. Benefit Highlights:
Qualifications Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field is preferred, but not required; Combination of education and experience may be considered. Experience: Minimum of two (2) years' experience in health care business development/marketing environment with measurable business development results, and a knowledge of psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment principles, is highly preferred. Licensure: Must have a valid driver's license with good driving record. Knowledge/Skill: Prefer knowledge of the Jacksonville, Orlando and Marion County behavioral health marketplace, insurance plans, target markets and referral sources, psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment and, age-specific programming. Must possess demonstrated business development concepts, sales abilities, competency in computer usage, and excellent written and oral communication skills; knowledge of and skills in application of marketing and sales principles; creativity and flexibility; skills in data collection analysis and interpretation; record of adherence to deadlines; customer service skills; willingness to travel, including overnight travel as required.
