As a key contributor, you'll be instrumental in constructing cutting-edge information management solutions that contribute to understand customer's current IT ecosystem and strategy and build a holistic view of the OpenText' solutions deployment as part of their digital transformation journey.

The Business Value Consulting team's mission is to drive increased sales by helping prospects understand the potential value of an investment in OpenText solutions and guide customers towards realization of that value through the most convenient deployment model.

WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS

The Solution Architect is a senior level professional, part of the Business Value Consulting team inside the Presales community, capable of managing multiple engagements in complex environments collaborating with many different stakeholders.

The SA responsibilities include:

* Supporting corporate efforts to enable the sales teams and providing feedback about new developments in the field of cloud computing & Information Management, and how new trends and best practices can impact our business.

* Supporting the sales teams along the sales cycle from the discovery and qualification phase to the closing, ensuring internal alignment and becoming a trusted advisor.

* Working with our customer's Enterprise Architects to provide a consensus-based solution that is scalable, adaptable and in synchronization with ever changing business needs.

* Helping customers to align IT strategy and planning with their business goals, driving cloud, security, architecture workshops.

* Managing risk of information and IT assets through appropriate standards and security policies.

* Making sure there's a proper handover to PS and cloud services, developing migration strategies together.

* Participating in conferences and events to speak about OpenText Cloud offerings.

* Developing the knowledge in different areas of expertise, from deployment models to OpenText solutions.

* Supporting the development of policies, standards and guidelines that governs the selection, development, implementation, and use of IT within the enterprise.

* Working with our customer's privacy and compliance teams to design solutions that meet their requirements for storing their information assets.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

* 5+ years of experience in consultative/complex technical sales and deployment projects

* 5+ years of architecture, design, implementation, and/or support of highly distributed applications

* 2+ years of experience in converting on premise workloads to the cloud

* Understanding of cloud computing technologies (SaaS, PaaS, MPC, etc.), business drivers, and emerging computing trends

* Understanding of information security (including compliance standards and IT governance)

* Project and program management planning and organizational skills

* Problem solving techniques

* Strong qualification skills

* Knowledge of the Enterprise Information Management industry and related products - OpenText products preferred

* Team player with strong communication and collaboration skills
