HR and L&D Coordinator

Description

The HR and L&D Coordinator plays a critical support role in both Human Resources and Learning & Development functions, helping to streamline processes, maintain systems, and enhance the overall team member and operator experience. This dual-role position is split between HR administrative responsibilities and Learning & Development coordination and content support. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and passionate about creating a high-performing, team member-first culture. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  



Human Resources Support  

  • Maintain and update team member records within the HCM system. 
  • Assist with benefits administration and team member onboarding/offboarding tasks. 
  • Support compliance efforts across local, state, and federal guidelines related to HR operations. 
  • Assist in maintaining and documenting HR policies, processes, and procedures. 
  • Run and compile routine HR reports and support data integrity across systems. 
  • Support with maintaining and updating scorecards used to track training, onboarding, and team metrics 
  • Coordinate team member engagement initiatives and assist with internal communications. 
  • Respond to general HR-related inquiries and direct team members to appropriate contacts or resources. 
  • Support the HR team with notetaking, tracking follow-ups, investigations, and documentation during team member relations processes. 

Learning & Development Support  

  • Assist in managing and maintaining the Learning Management System (LMS), including enrollments, Skills, troubleshooting, reporting etc. 
  • Coordinate scheduling, logistics, and follow-ups for in-person and virtual training sessions. 
  • Support with Onboarding and Offboarding processes, including assist with new hire schedule, collect equipment, and ensure timely access and removal from systems. 
  • Assist with formatting, proofreading, and deploying training content across formats (eLearning, print, video). 
  • Track training completion rates and support reporting and analytics on course effectiveness. 
  • Liaise with department leads and subject matter experts to create and update operational SOPs and training materials. 
  • Monitor and respond to training support tickets submitted through ZenDesk or email. 
  • Maintain the print production schedule and assist with New Store Opening kit fulfillment. 
  • Coordinate the translation of training materials, working with approved vendors or internal resources to ensure accurate and timely content 

Requirements

Job Requirements:


Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Organizational Development, Communications, or a related field preferred. 

Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in Human Resources, Learning & Development, or a related administrative support function. 
  • Experience working with training content and systems, preferably in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment 
  • Familiarity with HCM and LMS platforms. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities with attention to detail. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook. 
  • Experience with eLearning platforms (Articulate, Captivate, Synthesia, Vyond, Colossyan)  
  • Experience in basic reporting and data analysis. 
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive team member and business information. 
  • Basic understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design is a plus. 
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and prioritize tasks across multiple stakeholders. 

Location Requirement:  

This is a remote-first, hybrid position with some in-office requirements based on business needs. While there is no set schedule for on-site work, candidates must be able to commute to our West Midtown Atlanta office for in-person meetings, trainings, or team collaboration as needed.
