If you have experience with managing tax advisory services and tax compliance to a diversified client base, with a focus on Nonprofit organizations, this is the position for you! What You Will Do: Providing tax compliance, tax provision, and tax advisory services to tax-exempt organizations with an emphasis on higher education institutions, associations, healthcare entities, social service organizations, and grant-making foundations including private foundations Helping in developing, building, and managing client relationships Assisting in managing, developing, and coaching professional tax staff Reviewing returns prepared by tax associates and seniors Effectively delegating responsibilities to others and monitoring efforts of engagement teams Successfully researching complex tax issues, applying findings to projects, and communicating those findings in writing Having frequent contact with client personnel at top levels and being able to consistently sell additional services to them Having a disciplined approach that is reasonably successful in attracting new clients and developing referral sources Minimum Qualifications: 7 years or more in public accounting or corporate tax department with a minimum of 5 years working in the Nonprofit area Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field CPA license Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in Taxation or Law degree Partnership tax experience Experience managing multiple client engagements Excellent client relationship and time management skills Attention to detail without losing sight of the big picture Excellent supervisory and time management skills Ability to work efficiently under pressure and against client deadlines High-level analytical and reasoning skills #LI-BOCR #LI-CW1
