We have an opportunity for a Category Marketing Leader, Spray & Specialty, to join our New Brighton, MN team. You will support the development and acceleration of our strategic growth initiatives within the category under the Residential & Irrigation Flow business unit. In this role, you will lead the development and execution of marketing and business growth strategies, focusing on go-to-market, aftermarket, and channel strategy, driving sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction to enable market share gain. This position will report to the General Manager, Spray and Specialty, and this role will be based in New Brighton, MN.

You will:

  • Develop and execute growth strategies into new markets including go-to-market development and roadmap.
  • Collaborate with business leadership to develop and execute go-to-market strategies that cover multiple channels/mediums (e.g., OEM, Distribution) to increase market penetration and coverage.
  • Plan, monitor and coordinate the execution of product launches (in partnership with Product Management) and support existing products to drive revenue growth.
  • Compile multiple data sources into insightful and clear presentations for sales, marketing, and senior leadership.
  • Partner closely with the Product Management team and Sales to drive growth.
  • Responsible for integrating Voice of Customer into annual plans and management of associated budgets, identification of barriers to success, and implementation of smooth execution.

Key Qualifications:

  • Occasional travel may be required (10-25%).
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field is required.
  • 7+ years of professional experience in B2B marketing management, with proven success in driving channel growth and penetration through customer and sales team partnership
  • 3+ years of leadership experience in marketing management with a thorough knowledge of marketing principles, product or service management, sales, and business development, along with a demonstrated track record of success and performance
  • Experience within a manufacturing organization, including strong track record of cross-functional partnership (Product Management, R&D/Engineering, Sales, Operations/Manufacturing)
  • Be knowledgeable of market research, strategic marketing, and brand communications.
  • Be knowledgeable in web/digital marketing best practices, artificial intelligence, social media, and influence partnerships.

Compensation:

For this full-time position working at this location, the anticipated annualized base pay range will be from $110700 - $205600 / year. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be commensurate with a demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, work location, and other relevant business or organizational needs. This position may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as, annual incentive bonus.
