Reporting to the CFO, the Accounting Manager supports UMAA by managing financial transactions, accounting, and reporting, as well as the financial processes and systems for the organization. As a separate legal entity, financial activities include an independent audit and government filings. As a related organization to the University, activities include alignment with University finance and human resources requirements where applicable. The position supports the CFO in financial planning and budgeting. The Accounting function includes part-time support from a Finance Specialist and 1-2 part-time accounting student workers. Essential Functions*: Financial accounting, reporting and compliance (80%)
Payroll and human resources (10%)
Other Functions: Other duties as assigned (10%)
