Department Overview

The Accounting and Finance Division supports the company's financial performance by developing innovative ways to save time and money, as well as providing timely and accurate financial reports for strategic business decisions.

Primary Responsibilities

This position assists with various functions within the Large Group Billing Services area which include:

  • Accurately manage the account receivables and account payable functions for local and national self-funded accounts
  • Prepare weekly and monthly invoices for self-insured accounts
  • Manage billing functions to ensure operational compliance
  • Perform account reconciliations on assigned group accounts
  • Collection of delinquent and unpaid balances
  • Review enrollment agreements and updates to financial information
  • Participate in group implementation meetings to assess groups goals and objectives
  • Respond to inquiries from group administrators and decision makers
  • Incumbent will be required to administer and adhere to corporate and departmental policies and procedures in the administration of those functions
Summary of Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
  • One year of accounting experience
  • Proficiency in personal computer skills including Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in a position organizing and prioritizing tasks
  • Experience in a position meeting strict goals and deadlines
  • Experience in a position analyzing information to solve problems
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) preferred
  • Experience in a position using SQL or other comparable query software preferred
  • Experience working with Large Groups preferred
  • Experience in Enrollment or Billing Services preferred

Note: Willing to fill at a higher level based on experience.

Work Location

The work location for this position will be hybrid (onsite/remote)
