Overview LMI is seeking an experienced Transportation Manager/Import Export Control Officer in the Washington, DC area to design and develop strategic transportation plans, ensuring compliance with import/export regulations, and optimizing transportation processes for DoD property, including defense articles and hazardous materials. The role involves supporting the planning efforts for Global Asset Movement (GAM) and compliance, specifically for the F-35 Material Support, in alignment with Defense Transportation Regulation (DTR 4500.9-R) and International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). The position requires collaboration with key stakeholders and modern technology utilization to enhance planning accuracy and efficiency. Must be able to perform local work in the Washington, DC region with travel as required.
