We are embarking on a strategic path to consolidate and grow our meeting room offerings with support from partners. This role will be tasked with ensuring technology needs of the enterprise are met as it relates to meeting space technologies while ensuring safe, secure, and reliable operations.

The incumbent will provide oversight, direction and solutions for Audio Visual meeting technologies, integrations, and meeting events. This position ensures the future-state design and optimization plans for the services, with input from other TIS stakeholders. In addition, this position provides at a more detailed level, system and solution design for the associated systems and integrations. Read on!

What You Will Do:

  • Ensure TIS and organizational objectives are translated into secure, reliable, and supportable meeting room and Audio visual (AV) systems for delivering and optimizing modern meeting spaces with infrastructure that delivers the capabilities needed today and are positioned to scale and align with future business growth and needs.

  • Lead the technical roadmaps for all meeting room computing and A/V technology.

  • Lead a proactive approach to support, maintain, and repair meeting rooms using tools like Teams Meeting Admin and Teams Pro Management Tool to identify room health and component failure to minimize room downtime.

  • Develop and maintain meeting room standards for various sized rooms and use cases, act as subject matter expert for new meeting room requirements within the organization.

  • Maintain relationships with AV vendors and overseeing quality delivery from these partners.

  • Provide guidance to and support escalation from managed service partners as needed.

  • Develop, maintain, and lead all aspects of meeting room test procedure to ensure full functionality and signoff.

  • Gather and analyze user experience feedback to implement continuous improvement across all meeting rooms.

  • Provide advice and counsel to IT business colleagues in the design and implementation of new products, programs and services related to meeting rooms and event management systems.

  • Provide design leadership in integrations between internal and external meeting solutions e.g., Teams, Cisco, Crestron, Zoom, etc.

  • Represent Modern Workplace internally as a subject matter expert (SME) on topics of current and future technical opportunities and solutions.

Who You Are:

  • College or University diploma in Computer Science or related discipline, or a combination of related experience and training.

  • Minimum 6 years of progressively senior system analysis experience in an IT strategic business environment.

  • Broad range of experience with Meeting Room and AV solutions and demonstrated competency in developing effective solutions to diverse and complex business problems.

  • Strong IT background, specifically around managing and supporting End user-facing systems.

  • Advanced technical skills and future-state vision with Road mapping experience.

  • Strong business analysis, requirements gathering skills and problem-solving skills.

  • Well-developed expertise in systems architecture, business planning, process analysis, systems analysis, technical analysis, project management, systems implementation, and operations.

  • Demonstrated ability to be innovative, initiate and manage change.

  • Experience with operational practices needed to maintain stable operating environments.

  • Client focused with a commitment to quality service delivery.

  • Very good interpersonal skills, strong relationship management skills.
