The Job The Manager, Medicare Supplemental Benefits is accountable for the end to end operational performance of the organization's Medicare Advantage (MA) supplemental benefits portfolio (e.g., transportation, dental, OTC, food/grocery, fitness, flex cards). Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of operational policies and strategies that support Medicare Advantage (MA) supplemental benefits. acts as a key liaison between internal stakeholders and external partners, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. You Will Vendor Oversight & Performance Management: * Lead the end-to-end management of third-party vendor relationships, including contract compliance, performance monitoring, and risk management. * Develop, implement, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), service level agreements (SLAs), and dashboards to track vendor performance. * Serve as the primary point of escalation for internal teams and vendors, ensuring timely resolution of issues and proactive risk mitigation. Strategic Program Management: * Oversee multiple concurrent initiatives related to supplemental benefits, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and Medicare Advantage regulations. * Ensure ongoing compliance with CMS vendor selection and oversight requirements and internal policies; prepare for and support internal/external audits. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify performance gaps, conduct lessons-learned analyses, and recommend actionable improvements. Vendor Relations & Strategic Partnerships: * Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with strategic vendors and internal teams, fostering a culture of accountability and transparency. * Facilitate regular business reviews with vendors to assess performance, identify opportunities for cost optimization, and enhance member value. * Partner with vendors to design and implement marketing or engagement programs that drive utilization and promote supplemental benefits. Data-Driven Insights & Reporting: * Collect, analyze, and interpret performance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement. * Provide executive-level reporting on vendor performance and program effectiveness to senior leadership. * Develop and maintain standardized performance management tools, reporting mechanisms, and risk tracking systems. Your Qualifications Bachler's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field; or equivalent experience preferred PMP certification is a plus 5+ years of relevant experience in Medicare Advantage, healthcare operations, or client services, with a focus on vendor or program management. Demonstrated success in managing vendor performance frameworks, risk management processes, and cross-functional initiatives. Familiarity with CMS regulations and Medicare Advantage supplemental benefit requirements.
