Job Summary Join the Maricopa Community Colleges Enrollment Services team as a Student Services Manager and be part of a dynamic, student-focused environment and make a meaningful impact on students' educational journeys while fostering a vibrant, collaborative office culture! In this leadership role, you will oversee a dedicated team of Specialists in the Maricopa Contact Center, providing comprehensive student support, specializing in enrollment services and financial aid. You will ensure these services are seamlessly integrated, delivering students a high-quality, unified, and supportive experience. As a vital member of our leadership team, the Student Services Manager will coordinate, deliver, and continuously improve essential student services that guide students along their path to success. Your team will serve as the welcoming first point of contact for students seeking to transform their lives through education. You will provide and ensure ongoing development, training, and performance management to elevate the team's effectiveness and service excellence. In partnership with the Student Services Director, the Student Services Manager will assist in developing and implementing strategic plans for program services, initiatives, and operational efficiency, lead assessment initiatives to measure service effectiveness and student satisfaction, and collaborate with district leadership to align system-level services with student needs and institutional goals. This position is based at our Wood Street location and offers flexibility for part-time or full-time remote work arrangements. Essential Functions 40% - Plans, organizes, assigns, supervises, reviews, and evaluates the work of the Maricopa Contact Center staff by providing guidance, oversight, and administration of support services for financial aid and enrollment services at the District Office:
30% - Plans, manages, and oversees the implementation of financial aid and enrollment support services at the system-level; develops, recommends, and implements policies, goals, and guidelines:
20% - Monitors and evaluates services provided to meet defined objectives and outcomes:
10% - Plans and oversees the development and dissemination of program/service area communications and materials:
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution in education, sociology, business administration, or related field, and five years of progressively responsible student services or related experience that includes such things as administration of policies and procedures, program oversight, and two years of supervisory experience. OR An equivalent combination of the conferred degree and directly related full-time work experience as described above, sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job, such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation, may be considered.
