Summary

The MIL Corporation is seeking a talented Recruiter/Sourcer (Recruiting, Analyst) to join our dynamic team. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of supporting multiple government contracts, hiring managers, recruiters, and other MIL corporate initiatives.

This position currently requires a hybrid schedule, requiring two days a week in our Lexington Park, MD offices, along with occasional on-site attendance for events and meetings as necessary. Schedule is subject to change based on company/contract requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Supports Recruiting Manager with identifying staffing needs, outlining requirements, and achieving success in sourcing objectives.

  • Collaborates effectively with all levels of management-from hiring managers to senior leadership-to understand and fulfill recruitment needs.

  • Leads weekly meetings with hiring managers to align recruitment priorities, review candidate feedback, and communicate updates on hiring progress.

  • Maintains clear, timely, and responsive communication to ensure a seamless and efficient recruitment experience for all parties.

  • Builds and manages a proactive candidate pipeline by developing targeted talent networks aligned with recurring skill sets and business needs.

  • Sources and engages talent through a combination of traditional methods and innovative sourcing strategies.

  • Utilizes a variety of online recruiting platforms-including major and niche job boards, professional networks, user groups, blogs, and social media channels-to identify and attract qualified candidates.

  • Reviews applications and conducts phone screenings to assess candidates' qualifications, experience, compensation expectations, and overall organizational fit.

  • Coordinates and schedules interviews across multiple teams, ensuring a smooth and timely candidate experience.

  • Manages and maintains accuracy within the applicant tracking system (Taleo), including posting requisitions, updating candidate statuses, and generating offer letters.

  • Represents the company at job fairs, career expos, and military transition events to attract diverse talent.

  • Maintains current knowledge of relevant recruiting procedures and practices in compliance with state and federal laws and regulations.

  • Provides support with additional responsibilities as needed.

Travel

Up to 25% as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in full-cycle recruiting and sourcing for technical roles, including Cybersecurity, IT, and Engineering

  • Proficient in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) to manage candidate pipelines and hiring workflows

  • Demonstrated expertise in advanced sourcing techniques to identify, engage, and build relationships with top talent

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of an organization

  • Exceptional attention to detail, with strong organizational and time management abilities

  • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-performance environment with competing demands

  • Proven ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel

Desired Qualifications:

  • Prior experience recruiting and/or sourcing within a Department of Defense (DoD) or government contracting environment.

  • Experience with Taleo (ATS)

Additional benefits and incentives may also apply, which will be communicated during the hiring process.

For this position, the projected compensation range is $65,000 - $90,000 per year. This estimate represents the typical salary range and is just one part of MIL's complete compensation package.
