About The Position
The Cycle Planner collaborates with the Cycle Manager to develop the T-18 work week until handoff to the Work Week Manager(s) around the T-9 work week. The Cycle Planner works cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, and Materials to deliver optimized work week readiness and maximize Plant Reliability and Risk Management.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead the organization in the development of the long-range cycle/work week plan, collaborating with multiple leaders and cross-functional teams.
  • Work cross-functionally to optimize RICT and TSO window readiness
  • Strategically identify key areas for station risk reduction leveraging STRIDE or other applicable processes.
  • Develop and propose work scope, with consideration for Equipment Reliability, Maintenance Rule, and Reactor Oversight Process strategies.
  • Ensure cycle planning/work week development complies with regulatory requirements, risk assessment requirements (APA-ZZ-00315), Configuration Risk Management, and EDP-ZZ-01129 and Callaway Plant Risk Assessment.
  • Ensure cycle/work week plans are developed and executed to minimize risk significant equipment out-of- service time.
  • Ensure other work groups procure materials and complete evaluations for timely work week execution.
  • Ensure a risk assessment of scheduled work has been completed and approved.
  • Ensure proposed work scope is developed with consideration to current and projected plant conditions.
  • Coordinate work activities and ensure logic fragnets are developed for TSO outages, Risk significant equipment outages, Load reductions, Containment entries and Complex equipment outages.
  • Notify and obtain approval for load reductions or load reliability activities.

Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's Degree in a technical field (Engineering, Physics, Math, etc.) from an accredited University preferred. Six or more years of nuclear power plant experience required. Prior experience as a licensed/certified Reactor Operator (RO) or Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) at an operating nuclear power plant preferred. Scheduling experience in an on-line maintenance or outage organization preferred.

In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office required. Proficiency with EMPRV, Primavera or other work management and scheduling software preferred. Security screening required for Callaway Energy Center access.

Working Conditions
The Cycle Planner works a standard day shift in an office/plant environment. Callouts and working rotating or Outage schedules may be required to support plant operations.

Ameren's selection process includes a series of interviews and may include a leadership assessment process. Specific details will be provided to qualified candidates.

Compensation Range:

$108,400.00 - $168,000.00

At Ameren, base salary is one component of a competitive compensation package for employees. Our pay ranges are broad to allow for movement within our organization and to accommodate different skill sets and levels of expertise. We take into consideration a variety of factors including, but not limited to, skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, and internal equity when determining the base salary offered. Roles are eligible for additional rewards including annual incentive payments based on individual and company performance.
