Mechanics Bank is currently searching for a Software Development Business Systems Analyst to join our team. This role can work onsite in one of our local offices or remote within the United States. The Software Development Business Systems Analyst drives Internal Product initiatives. This role is the primary contact on the Bank Ops Development team for application/system escalated support and product enhancement requests. This role coordinates as well as participates in collaborative design discussions, documents requirements, and tracks progress of project tasks. This role is responsible for the communication of project/task status to stakeholders and proactively follows up with internal customers to ensure expectations are met. What you will be doing: Analysis
Schedule collaboration meetings Document decisions made in collaboration meeting/sessions Work directly with users / stakeholders to validate requirements, get questions answered. Produce data flow diagrams Produce system interaction diagrams Enter and manages tickets within project tracking software (Azure Dev Ops) Provide weekly status updates to Bank Ops Development Director Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding of developed products capabilities
Coordination

Releases
Work closely with PSE and QA to create release documentation and CAB requests Provide support during the release process engaging resources as needed Communication of release status to Stake Holders / Users Support for any issues after release and/or follow up to insure successful adoption of released software.
Support
Owns production support issues escalated to the development team by Product Support (ASE's) Escalates issue within the development team to ensure timely resolution Continuously increases knowledge of product technologies and industry standards

Who you are:
A minimum of 3 years of related experience required. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field preferred. Nimble Learning - Actively learning through experimentation when tackling new problems, using both successes and failures as learning fodder. Plans and Aligns - Planning and prioritizing work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals. Optimizes Work Process - Knowing the most effective and efficient processes to get things done, with a focus on continuous improvement. Working knowledge of SQL. Azure DevOps Visio / Process Flowcharting. Ability to comprehend business needs and disseminate them to developers. Customer oriented mindset.
