Who is Saint Louis University? Founded in 1818, Saint Louis University is one of the nation's oldest and most prestigious Catholic universities. SLU, which also has a campus in Madrid, Spain, is recognized for world-class academics, life-changing research, compassionate health care, and a strong commitment to faith and service. Under general direction, provides administrative coordination and assistance in the University Athletics Office while serving as a liaison to several individual sport programs. The individual will help with operations logistics and coordination, team and individual travel, recruiting activities, preparing and maintaining reports and databases, and arranging campus visits and meetings. Must maintain compliance with NCAA, Atlantic 10 and university rules and regulations; and other duties as assigned. * Manage sport purchase orders * Maintain calendar information; arrange internal and external meetings and appointments * Interact with coaching staffs to maintain internal and external contacts * Attend special events * Interact with student-athletes, prospective student-athletes, parents, University executive management, community leaders, program boosters, donors and members of the media * Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner * Perform other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills and Abilities * Proven ability to work independently, prioritize, and complete tasks in a timely manner * Excellent communication and decision making skills required for working with diverse groups * Strong written communication skills; excellent organizational skills with accuracy and attention to detail * Demonstrated appreciation for diversity and inclusion Minimum Qualifications Function Athletic SupportScheduled Weekly Hours: 40Saint Louis University is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
