The UMKC Campus Facilities Management (CFM) team is seeking an experienced, customer-service focused HVAC Technician to join our team. Our team supports both the UMKC Volker Campus which is just south of the Country Club Plaza as well as the UMKC Health Sciences campus which is part of the UMKC Health Sciences District in downtown Kansas City. As a UMKC employee you will belong to an engaged community. There is never a dull or typical day on campus as we have a wide variety of buildings that range from over 100 years old to just under 2 years old, and some of our most iconic buildings have great history in Kansas City, for example Scofield Hall. We are seeking an individual who is known for their positive, team-oriented attitude, and who is able to successfully work with frequent interruptions, while meeting deadlines and producing high-quality work. Successful applicants will have excellent communication skills, be able to take instructions, and troubleshoot and come up with good resolutions.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Shift
Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; occasional nights and weekends, as needed. Minimum Qualifications
