Construction Materials Field Technician

Overview:


We are hiring 10 Construction Materials Field Technicians at various levels (I-V) based on experience and certifications. In this role, you'll perform field testing, inspections, and observations to ensure the quality and safety of major construction projects, including transportation, commercial, and energy infrastructure.

Responsibilities:




  • Perform field testing of soils, concrete, asphalt, and other construction materials.



  • Conduct on-site inspections of foundations, reinforcing steel, masonry, and structural steel.



  • Accurately document and report field results using company technology.



  • Support a variety of projects, including roads, bridges, schools, healthcare facilities, and renewable energy sites.




Qualifications:




  • Previous field experience in construction materials testing or inspection.



  • Relevant certifications (ACI, NICET, etc.) strongly preferred.



  • Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions and travel to job sites.



  • Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills.



  • Must pass motor vehicle record check.




Compensation:




  • Pay: $20 - $26 per hour, based on level and certifications.
