Part-Time Service and Maintenance Associate I

State Historical Society

Provide cleaning and maintenance to State Historical Society of Missouri building, equipment, and landscaping.

1. Clean and disinfect restrooms, office areas, entrances, stairways and breakroom throughout the day.
2. Vacuum and cleans carpet and furniture.
3. Sweeps, mops, and polishes floors and stairwells.
4. Collects and disposes of waste and recycling through building.
5. Keep exterior premises in an orderly condition including collecting waste and recycling, sweeping entryways, shoveling snow, and general landscaping.
6. Performs some light repairs and maintenance.
7. Perform building security duties such as checking doors.
8. Assist in preparing rooms for meetings by setting up chairs, tables, and cleaning space.
9. Order custodial supplies as needed.

20 hours per week between 8am to 5pm

High school diploma or equivalent and at least 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities can be acquired is necessary.

One-year experience in custodial, building maintenance or general labor.
Skill in the operation of a variety of hand tools.

Salary Range: $18.67-19.20 per hour
Grade: GGS-007
