The Adoption Change and Service Management (ACSM) Consultant is a non-technical role focused on leading organizational change and service management for Microsoft's Defense customers. This position helps organizations understand and prepare for the impact of AI on their workforce, processes, and service delivery. The consultant develops and executes change management strategies aligned with mission objectives, builds governance and service frameworks to support AI adoption, and manages multiple projects across services and technologies. Operating at the program level, the ACSM Consultant also contributes to business development, pre-sales, and risk management, while collaborating across Microsoft's adoption ecosystem. As a trusted advisor and change agent, this role is central to enabling successful, sustainable transformation. ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement change management strategies to drive user adoption and effective utilization of Microsoft technologies, solutions, and services.Apply structured methodologies, reference architectures, and design patterns to lead change and IT service management (ITSM) initiatives.Design, deliver, and manage customer-facing communications, training programs, and recognition initiatives to support organization change initiatives.Lead ITSM process design, iteration, and implementation, including governance recommendations to improve service delivery and compliance.Integrate ITSM and business practices into core government functions to enhance operational efficiency and mission alignment.Deploy and refine Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)-based processes to support federal operations, ensuring compliance with Federal Information Security Moderization Act (FISMA), National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), and other standards to maintain audit readiness and reduce risk.Advance ITSM maturity through automation, process improvement, and cross-agency collaboration to align services with evolving mission and policy needs.Coach leaders and executives to fulfill their roles as effective change sponsors.Identify and pursue opportunities to expand or accelerate the adoption of Microsoft cloud technologies and services.Support pre-sales efforts by contributing technical and customer insights related to Adoption, Change, and Service Management (ACSM).Continuously learn emerging technologies and industry trends, and obtain relevant ACSM certifications and accreditations.Manage stakeholder relationships to proactively identify and resolve issues, improve satisfaction, and drive successful outcomes.Evangelize the value and impact of ACSM internally and externally through events, communications, and strategic engagements.Other:Embody our culture and values |
