*Underwriting Associate * *Location:* Hybrid (Tuesdays & Wednesdays in-office - San Antonio, TX)
*Education Required:* Associate's or Bachelor's Degree (Business-related fields preferred) *Experience Level:* Entry-Level (Open to new grads with 3.0+ GPA) *Daily Responsibilities* * Evaluate risks using underwriting criteria across multiple lines of business * Independently verify insured operations * Review and process policy change requests * Assess policies at renewal * Participate in training for new products and processes * Support special projects as needed *What We're Looking For* * Strong investigative and analytical skills * Excellent communication and customer service abilities * Internet research proficiency * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment * Strong time management and adaptability to change *Preferred Qualifications* * Prior insurance or financial services experience * Property & Casualty or underwriting experience (not mortgage underwriting) * Wonderlic cognitive test score in the 80-100% range * GPA of 3.0+ confirmed *Note:* Candidates must complete the Wonderlic test here and notify Sarah once completed. *Disqualifiers* * Actuarial degrees * Currently pursuing a degree * Claims Adjuster-only experience * Lack of relevant experience or degree * Low Wonderlic score *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $42681.00 - $42681.00/yr.
