About The Role

POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for managing and processing construction loan disbursements with accuracy and efficiency. Ensures compliance with credit terms, bank policy, and regulatory requirements while delivering excellent service to internal and external stakeholders.

Pay Range: $23.40 - $35.10/hour

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBLITES AND DUTIES:
  • Review loan approvals, budgets, and documentation to confirm accuracy and compliance with approved LTV/LTC ratios.
  • Assist in loan closings by setting up budgets and equity requirements; establish disbursement files and budget line-item tracking.
  • Process construction draw requests in a timely manner; verify and collect required documents (e.g., change orders, lien waivers, insurance certificates, title endorsements).
  • Order third-party inspections and reconcile borrower budgets with bank records. Identify and address funding shortfalls or required budget changes.
  • Manage interest reserve tracking and billing; monitor borrower equity and soft cost usage; disburse funds accordingly.
  • Prepare payoff demands, lot sale payoffs, and lien releases with accuracy.
  • Ensure all disbursement documentation is properly scanned and stored in Synergy.
  • Communicate with loan officers, borrowers, builders, title companies, inspectors, and internal teams throughout the construction process.
  • Maintain compliance with bank policies and regulations, including BSA, Patriot Act, and OFAC.
  • Regular, reliable attendance is required.
  • Basic understanding of residential and commercial appraisals preferred; willingness to complete training if needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

About You

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND SKILLS:
  • Six months to two years of similar or related experience, including time spent in preparatory positions.
  • Familiar with loan documents and construction projects
  • High school degree or GED required.

Knowledge, Skill, Ability (Other Skills):

  • Courtesy, tact and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Work involves personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization, generally regarding routine matters for purposes of giving and obtaining information, as well as advising and referring, which commonly require shorter discussions.
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Good computer skills (Internet, Word, Excel, Access, etc.)
  • Familiarity with BUILT platform (preferred)

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Starting salary is dependent upon relevant experience and may vary based on the geographic location of the position.
