Internship Overview:
We are seeking motivated engineering students to join our Summer 2026 Internship Program. Interns will gain hands-on experience in the energy industry while working alongside experienced professionals across various departments. This program is designed to provide practical learning opportunities, exposure to real-world projects, and professional development that supports both academic and career goals.

Available Departments May Include:
Electrical Engineering - system planning, grid reliability, substation design, and transmission/distribution projects
Mechanical Engineering - power generation, plant operations, equipment performance, and maintenance support
Civil Engineering - structural, environmental, and site development projects supporting utility infrastructure
Chemical Engineering - fuel systems, water treatment, environmental controls, and process optimization in power generation
Environmental Engineering - compliance, sustainability initiatives, and environmental stewardship

What You'll Do:
*Assist engineering teams with project planning, analysis, and implementation
*Perform data collection, testing, and reporting under supervision of licensed engineers
*Collaborate with cross-functional teams on utility operations and improvement initiatives
*Gain exposure to industry standards, safety practices, and utility regulations

Additional Information:
*Internships begin on May 18, 2026
*Interns will work 40 hours per week for a period of 10-12 weeks

Position Requirements


Qualified candidates must:
*Be pursuing a degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Chemical or Environmental Engineering from an EAC/ABET accredited program
*Have completed their first year at a 2-year college/university (transfer program) or 4-year college/university
*Be enrolled as a full-time student Fall 2026
*Successfully undergo pre-employment physical and drug screen if selected for this position

Salary Ranges:
Rising Sophomore: $23.00 per hour
Rising Junior: $24.00 per hour
Rising Senior: $25.00 per hour
