Position Summary and Responsibilities:
The primary duty of the Sales and Service Supervisor DOT is to supervise and train its team of service representatives.
This position ensures that products are delivered on time and on premise equipment is maintained and serviced as
needed by the service representatives. This position provides safety training to its team as needed and routinely
oversees its team to confirm each service representative is properly performing his/her normal job duties. This position
will run delivery routes in support of absences. This position holds a commercial driver's license.
* Consistently demonstrate and model good management and self -management practices in support of Ben E. Keith

* Maintain daily delivery schedule and ensure deliveries are conducted in a timely and professional manner
* Hire, train, and develop employees
* Act as a mentor by coaching team; communicate best practices
* Monitor and follow up on any issues needing corrective action
* Assess performance of direct reports against established benchmarks and provide feedback.
* Ensure team members adhere to all company policies and procedures
* Conduct regular field-based supervision of employee assignments and tasks
* Train and certify direct reports on the use of company vehicles and other facility equipment
* Provide the best customer service in the industry by managing the day -to-day activities of drivers; ensure that Ben
E. Keith standards are met in all phases of the delivery process
* Screen, interview, and hire applicants as needed
* Ensure all vehicles are being maintained in a safe, operational condition; oversee the completeness and accuracy
of documentation wherever necessary
* Investigate and address any customer complaints and address with employee as appropriate
* Respond to accident notification and visit accident scenes involving BEK drivers and/or vehicles.
* Complete accident reports, set up drug screens, determine cause of accident and take appropriate measures based
on the facts of the incident.
* Build healthy business relationships and establish good communication with our retail customers
* Communicate with sales staff any observed opportunities or challenges
* Project a friendly, professional image at all times
* Attend meetings as required
* Prioritize multiple, competing priorities
* Maintain and keep clean assigned company vehicle at all times
* Perform other duties are assigned


Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
* Must have the ability to lead others and obtain desired results through motivation, communication, and leading by
example
* Ability to work in a fast paced environment
* Able to coordinate multiple activities and follow through with commitments
* Good oral and written communication skills and participate well in a team environment
* Must be highly motivated and results oriented, with a strong attention to detail
* Must be organized with the ability to handle multiple priorities
* Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
* Must be able to read and write English
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) preferred
* Excellent performance in previous BEK career path positions
* Basic computer skills preferred
* Ability to move products weighing up to 165 lbs., stoop, kneel, crouch, talk and hear
* Must be 21 yrs. or older to apply
* Ability to operate/drive single axle truck with 27 f t. trailer
* Position requires a Texas Class A CDL driver's license with a clean MVR
* Ability to work in various weather conditions

Physical Requirements:
* Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other
federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
* Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local
standards
* Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs
Driver safety is important to Ben E. Keith. We use dash cameras which leverage artificial intelligence to recognize safe
driving, capture safety events and improve driver safety performance. The videos are also used to exonerate drivers in
accidents. All drivers sign a driver consent form upon hire to confirm their understanding.
