Job ID: 100400

Do you want to work on complex and pressing challenges-the kind that bring together curious, ambitious, and determined leaders who strive to become better every day? If this sounds like you, you've come to the right place.
Your Impact
In this role, you will support the execution of activities related to our governance, training, and awareness program across the global Ethics & Compliance (E&C) team.
You will support firm teams in identifying policy needs, document drafting/revision, syndication, and approval, ensuring we maintain an accurate inventory of all current and historic governance documents. Within E&C, you will assist teams in developing internal governance documents establishing program requirements and processes. As part of both workstreams, you will be expected to contribute to implementation planning and delivery to ensure documents are properly supported via appropriate training and awareness efforts.
You will conduct periodic risk assessments to evaluate and improve firm policies, procedures, and standards to ensure they meet our firm's operational needs, appropriately address new and emerging risks, and align with applicable laws, regulations, and any related E&C program obligations.
As a key member of the E&C Capabilities team, you will contribute as a thought partner within the broader E&C function, supporting organizational, operational, or strategic initiatives as needed. In this role you may be asked to provide surge support into other areas. You will also participate in regionally focused activities, such as advancing our integrity agenda in collaboration with regional E&C leaders, to raise awareness and strengthen the Firm's E&C program in your region or location.
You will be part of McKinsey's E&C function and will be based in North America. The E&C function's mission is to manage risks to our firm, our clients, and our people, while also enabling our firm's client impact and innovation. The E&C function is a globally integrated team within the second line of defense of our firm. McKinsey has an E&C program that is structured in a way that ensures that it is well designed, empowered to function effectively, and works in practice. Our E&C program includes a clear message that misconduct is not tolerated as well as policies, procedures, training, monitoring and consequence management to ensure the program is well-integrated into our firm's operations and workforce. You will be a member of the E&C Capabilities pillar, which drives cross-functional application and consistency of core E&C program activities, including firm governance, training and awareness, risk assessment, data insights, programmatic monitoring, and issue management.
